Q. Joaco, you're an Australian Open champion. You've just won our biggest event here in Adelaide with a 65 in the last round. How much do you love Australia, and how sweet does this feel?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Man, I love it. I'm starting to feel the tears now because I didn't want to get out of that game rhythm because you never know what can happen on the last one, but now for the relief, and man, it feels awesome.

Q. You've never really contended in a major championship, but the way you've played over the last 18 months, do you feel now you are ready to contend or even win a major?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: I mean, obviously that's something that we all work for. It's something that I know I can do it, it's just a matter of that week being my week. I just need to be patient. It's something over the back of my mind, having a good finish in the majors. Yeah, I'm ready for it.

Q. I believe the only major you're not in is the U.S. Open, but now LIV have got a spot. Is that the goal, to grab that spot?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, definitely. Hopefully I can grab it before that. But yeah, that's great. They're making their point, and all the majors are doing what they have to do, so it's good.
