Q. Obviously you guys came here hoping to pull this off. For both of you, did it feel good to be able to get through this and have a couple trophies?

EVAN MOBLEY: Yeah. It was fun, honestly. I feel like the first one was a little rusty, had to get back used to it. Then the second round, got the flow of it and Donovan followed right behind and got the W.

DONOVAN MITCHELL: Just leaning on my vet, the OG of it all. I told him I wouldn't let him down. He said, I've got a perfect record, we can't leave here 1-1.

Just tried to do my part to make sure I didn't mess up his undefeated record.

Q. You've known Chris [Paul] for a while. Obviously, he likes to try to bend the rules --

DONOVAN MITCHELL: That's what Victor said. If Victor said that --

Q. What were you guys thinking as they were trying to pull off that strategy?

DONOVAN MITCHELL: If they weren't disqualified, I think we probably would have just did the same thing to be honest with you. Play to win, I guess.

EVAN MOBLEY: I feel like my first round I tried to do a similar thing but made it look like a real shot. But that didn't work really well, so I switched up my strategy.
