Q. Corey, overall highlights from the day from you guys as a pairing?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it was a fun day. Taylor got off to a hot start, eagle on our second hole and a couple birdies to follow that. Got us settled into the round nicely, and I think we did a good job. We both had a bunch of looks. A few holes we would like to have taken advantage of a little bit better, but overall a solid day.

Q. Taylor, take us through the eagle on 11. Does it feel like you got off to a hot start that you could sustain you for the entirety of the round?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Yeah, it was good. I hit a really nice drive and a really nice 7-wood to maybe about eight feet, ten feet and poured it in, so that was a great start. Made a couple more birdies early.

We were just kind of cruising. Didn't take advantage of the par-5 18th. I think that was the only hole that I guess we'd like to have back, but we both played good, and off to a good start.

Q. Based on your relationship, how much more comfortable do you guys feel out there knowing you're pretty close on a personal level?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it's awesome. We've played a lot of golf together over the last number of years. Got a lot of faith in his game. It's a lot of fun to be out here with him.

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Yeah, it's been a great week so far. Obviously this is our first time playing this event together. It's exciting, and nice to have a partner who can back you up, and got all the faith in him. It's fun.
