MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 14, 2024

Ludvig Aberg

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Post-Round TV Interview

Q. Ludvig, in your major championship debut you came in as the runner-up to World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. What are you most proud of in your performance this week?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I haven't really thought about it just yet. I think there's a lot of things that we did very well this week, especially today, because I came out and I was very nervous, obviously. I was shaking a little bit on the first tee. Those are all things that I really enjoy doing. We said that it's a privilege to be able to hit all these shots out here, and it's a privilege to be in this position.

Q. There were some really memorable moments throughout your round, some highs, some lows. I think the first, dropping that Power Bar when you were shaking all the patrons' hands and then the birdie on 9 and you just embracing that, of course finding water on 11. It seemed like your demeanor never changed, but what was actually happening inside and what can you learn from those moments?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, definitely. Obviously we knew that hitting it in the water on 11 wasn't ideal, but we also just kept playing. That's what me and my caddie Joe and our team has been trying to work on. Just keep playing no matter what happens. I think we did that very well today, and it just showed that we stuck to what we did, and it ended up being pretty okay anyways.

Q. You learned so much from the Ryder Cup in Rome. I'm sure you learned a lot this week. What does this do for your and your confidence moving forward in the season?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Oh, yeah, definitely. It shows we're doing a lot of good stuff, and obviously finishing well in the Masters is a dream come true. Just playing here has been such a privilege, and I'm super proud of myself and the team and all the work that we're doing.
