MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 14, 2024

Sepp Straka

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. I can't ever see the last hole. I saw you made a birdie. How did that turn out?

SEPP STRAKA: It was good. I had a good drive down the right side and got it down there decently far enough to where I could hit a short iron in. Hit a good iron shot kind of in the middle of that front section, and I was able to make a putt.

Q. What about your week here?

SEPP STRAKA: Very happy with it. The putter let me down for most of the week. I didn't putt very well. Other than that, I feel like my game is in really good shape. I played really well.

A few bad mistakes on the back nine coming in today, but that's going to happen. It's set up pretty tough out there. It was a great setup today. It was really good, very challenging, but also very fair. You can take advantage of good shots and you're punished for bad ones.

Q. As it stands now, you and Chris are tied for low Bulldog. Did you cross paths out there at all, you and Chris?

SEPP STRAKA: He was a few groups behind me. I try to keep up with what he's doing out there, but I saw we were tied there with four or five holes to go.

Q. Is there some pride in that?

SEPP STRAKA: You always want to be low Bulldog, but I'm always rooting for Kirk. He's a good dude. Hope he makes a few birdies coming in and has a good week.

Q. Where are you going from here?

SEPP STRAKA: Hilton Head next week. I'll be there next week and then Zurich, playing with Brice Garnett.
