Q. Well, one for one. Made the cut. Birdie on the last. Walk me through the last hole. What was going through your head?

LIZETTE SALAS: I just needed one solid swing. My hybrids were not where they were last year, where they have been. We decided to take a little bit more. Kind of that course knowledge from Mr. Gormley came in clutch on the last.

We were kind of in that spot yesterday, so we knew what club to hit. Just committed to my shot.

I have friends out here, my nephews, so just really wanted to make one birdie for them, not be stressed out the rest of the afternoon.

But, I mean, we grinded today. It was a grind the last two days. You know, hopefully this weekend not have so much stress and just go out there and -- it's there. It's still in there.

Just got to put some -- oil me up a little bit and then I'm good to go.

Q. How much of a relief is it just to get the first cut made out of the way? I know that could be nerve-wracking after an extended break.

LIZETTE SALAS: Yeah, I mean, we didn't really talk about make a cut. The mentality was to have fun. That's why I have my trainer on the bag. He knows me so well and I know this golf course. We want to be as stress-free as possible. I didn't really make that on the golf course, but made some really good putts and shots and I know what I need to work on.

We'll have some fun this weekend.

Q. Speaking of having fun, going for broke, nothing to lose at this point, just going to kind of go attack and have some fun at somewhere you know so well, or still have a game plan and strategize?

LIZETTE SALAS: Yeah, I need to fix my hybrids. I don't know why the ball is going to the right. That's the biggest slap in the face to me.

But, you know, I got some time to fix it and rest up. I think that quick kind of like quick return back to the golf course, you know, that kind of took me a while to warm up this morning. But we're done. Stress-free. Happy with the result.
