Q. Well played. Right in the heart with 18 holes. Wanted to ask about your swing. It quite a unique swing. On the takeaway you do look away from the ball. Tell us about that.

RUIXIN LIU: I can't really see my golf ball because my head is so far turning to the right, but that's just the way I generate power because I was very little, short when I was young. That's the only way I can catch up.

Q. It's certainly working for you beautifully. Very much in contention. Tell us about the crowd here. They are behind you every step of the way.

RUIXIN LIU: They're amazing today. Every since the first hole they're super supportive and give me a round of applause every putt I made, so I'm super thankful, yeah.

Q. Your dad is on the bag, David. He's been with you most of your golfing career. You say he's not at full health. What's David got going on?

RUIXIN LIU: He has a herniated disc and one bad knee, so it's probably his last year. I want to make the most out of it.

Q. It's a big reason for playing well tomorrow. You must be enjoying this week playing in China in front of home fans. What are you most looking forward to about tomorrow?

RUIXIN LIU: I just want to enjoy myself. I haven't played any golf in three months, and I'm so relaxed and I so enjoy just back playing, and I want to do the same thing tomorrow.

Q. So no pressure, go out, enjoy, and see what happens.

RUIXIN LIU: Yeah, that's my goal tomorrow.
