THE MODERATOR: Welcome Fireballs GC. We have a new face up here. We're joined by our captain Sergio Garcia, Eugenio Chacarra, Abraham Ancer and David Puig.

Heading into this new season of LIV Golf 2024, how is everybody feeling about their games?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, obviously super excited about it. It's been a nice little break, and very excited about our new teammate.

We're happy. We're happy about it. We like where we are. We feel very strong about ourselves.

We're looking forward to it, and hopefully it will be an amazing year.

Q. Eugenio?

EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, I think the off-season was good for me. I was not feeling great physically last year. I had some issues with my hips and stuff, so having that time off to work on it and get back healthy has been great. I've been feeling really good for the last month, so I'm excited to start, and I think it's going to be a good year for us.

Q. Abe, obviously we're back in Mexico; what does it mean to you to be playing in front of your fans in your home country and representing the Fireballs?

ABRAHAM ANCER: I don't think I could pick a better place to start the season. Definitely a golf course that I truly love and I played throughout my career. It's a place that is really special. Family is always here. My friends are all here, and as always playing in front of my people is definitely a different feeling which I love. They made some tweaks to the golf course, too. They made it tougher, which is really cool to see.

We're excited. I think we all feel really collectively good about the team.

Q. David, how does it feel to be up here repping a new team? Tell us about the process in the off-season that got you here.

DAVID PUIG: It feels great. Couldn't ask for a better team, especially playing for Sergio. It's very nice, especially for me as a guy from Spain. I kind of grew up watching him play and just being with him on his team is actually super special as well as Eugenio and Abraham. They're both very good, and I think we make a very good team, all us four.

The process was, I feel, pretty easy. Obviously left Torque and Sergio contacted me pretty fast, which was nice. Again, super excited to play for Fireballs GC. Hopefully this -- I don't know. Hopefully everything.

Q. Your game was in an incredible place at the end of last season. How do you feel going into this season? Are you in the same form as you were then?

DAVID PUIG: Yeah, my off-season was good. Played a lot of tournaments last year, especially with the Asian Tour, as well. But yeah, feel great.

I had a couple months to rest and practice hard, as well, so looking forward to the start of the year here.

Q. We have the addition of Jon Rahm, another fellow Spaniard. Sergio, tell us what about what means for LIV, and what do you think about adding a 13th team?

SERGIO GARCIA: I think it's definitely exciting. Anytime you can have a player the quality of Jon in your league, it's amazing. We're very thankful to have him here.

I think it's a great addition, not only with him but with Tyrrell and everyone that is new in the league.

I think it's nice to see. It's exciting for everyone. We couldn't be happier.

Q. Eugenio, what do you think about having a 13th team, and do you think that's going to add some more competition out there?

EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, the more players, the better. I think the league is getting stronger, like Sergio said, and it's fun. I think we have a pretty good team. I think we've got high expectations, and we're all going to work pretty well to accomplish the goal and win that final in Dallas this year.

I think we feel pretty good, and the more players and the more quality of players, I think the tougher it is, and for me as a young guy, the more I can learn from them and get my game ready for the future, it's better. So I'm excited, and I'm excited to start tomorrow.

Q. Who do you guys think is the team to beat this year?

SERGIO GARCIA: Fireballs GC.

EUGENIO CHACARRA: Fireballs GC.

ABRAHAM ANCER: Fireballs.

DAVID PUIG: Fireballs.

Q. We saw last week the announcement that Movistar is going to be broadcasting in Spain. How important is that for you now that your home country can watch easily?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, it's great to hear the news that Movistar Plus+ is going to start broadcasting LIV.

I know that the demand for the Spanish people, like obviously friends of mine that I know and everyone was asking, how can we watch it better and stuff like that. I think that everyone is super, super excited.

Obviously we have a great event in Valderrama, and to top it off now with Movistar broadcasting LIV, it's going to be great.

I think that the country is super, super excited about it.

EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, I think Sergio said pretty much everything. I had family and friends that wanted to follow, and it was not the easiest way in Spain, and obviously having a channel like Movistar starting to streaming it and having it for Spaniards there, I think people wanted to watch, so it's going to be fun, and hopefully they enjoy it.
