Quick Quotes

Q. Congratulations.

PIMPISA RUBRONG: Thank you.

Q. Great start to the tournament. Can you tell us about your highlights of the 68 today?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: So today I made four birdies and was bogey-free, so I'm at 4-under.

Also, I hit into the green every shot, and I can make a putt, but I miss a lot of birdies, so I can have only 4-under.

Q. What was your longest putt today?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: I think it's around 18 yards.

Q. On which hole number?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: The one I got par. Actually, it's around like 5 yards on hole 9.

Q. You were the first group to tee off today. Did you feel nervous when you started?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: Yeah. I felt a little bit nervous because I'm the first one to tee off in the first group.

Q. But you hit a good drive?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: Yeah, I hit it good.

Q. So you started at 7:30am. What time did you have to wake up this morning and get here?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: Around 4:00 in the morning.

Q. And you came to the club and practiced?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: Yeah.

Q. What are your hopes for the rest of the week? Are you confident you have a chance?

PIMPISA RUBRONG: So for the rest of the days, I want to make no bogeys for a round, and if I can make a putt,, I can make a birdie.
