THE MODERATOR: Congratulations. You're through to the second round. How do you feel after that performance?

LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah, I'm really happy, excited for this match. I played a good quallie match. He is a good player, good fighter. Yeah, I know he's tough to play against him, but I'm really happy to reach the second round.

Q. You're a few points away from playing Carlos. I'm just curious how much you remember of when you beat him a few years ago in Cincinnati, what you remember about that match.

LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah, yeah, he was really young. He's different now. He was 50 in the world. Now he is No. 2. Yeah, he improved a lot in tennis, and I need to do my best to beat him.

I want to do my best for sure because every time is an opportunity to improve something on my tennis. I want to just enjoy the moment.

Q. Of course, he was already clearly very good back then. What did you think about his game? Do you remember if anything stood out to you?

LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah, I know he changed a lot the game. He's another player. He's aggressive on court. He stay near to the line, and he want to be aggressive.

He has a good touch, good volley, good return. I can do something on his serve. I can be aggressive. Yeah, that's it.

Q. Just last thing, how excited do you get for the opportunities to play these top players at the biggest events?

LORENZO SONEGO: I think it's really nice to be here and to play on center. This is my first time on the court, and I want to really enjoy and have fun.
