Q. All right, Brooke, let's start with this front nine. Four birdies before you made the turn. Just overall, how were you feeling, especially with the new equipment in the bag that you talked about earlier in this week?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, the front nine was a lot of fun. I was making a lot of birdies and I was hitting the ball really well, giving myself a lot of good opportunities.

Back nine just didn't hit as many greens so wasn't giving myself as many opportunities. It was nice to chip in on 17. This was a nice momentum boost.

Unfortunately dropped a shot on 18, but still under par on the day. I think this weekend it's just going to be tough conditions, so just trying to grind it out.

It was a lot of fun playing with Lydia and Taylor. There was a lot of great shots happening out there, so it was really easy to kind of follow their momentum.

Q. Did you feel the conditions kind of shift in the afternoon once the wind picked up and obviously the rain started coming down?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, for sure. The rain really got to me on 18 a little bit. It was kind of bad timing I think. I hit during the strongest part of it. Maybe I should have just waited five minutes.

But, yeah, there was definitely a change in conditions, a little bit windier and a little bit of rain coming in.

Q. What happened on 18? I missed it.

BROOKE HENDERSON: I just bogeyed. Just hit it left on my second shot. Got up and down for bogey. Yeah, just started pouring rain and it was really windy, so played really long on 18.

Q. I did see the chip in. Walk me through that shot and what was going right for you there.

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, you know, we had a good read on it and I was able to hit the spot I was trying to aim for. Right away I knew it was going to be pretty good. To see it fall in was definitely a bonus. It gave me a little bit of confidence coming into 18 because I knew it was going to be a tough hole.

Q. You talked about talking with Taylor. The first thing he said over there to me was, this was a Bucket List item for me. What was it like playing with him and just you have been doing this for a couple years now, but overall every time you get to meet or play with a new celebrity, what's that like?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, he's a great guy. It was a lot of fun to play with him today. He hit a lot of really great shots and played well, too. Obviously with his past it was really cool to get to know him a little bit. He has two super cute daughters that I met yesterday, too.

So it's just a really fun event and it's really nice to meet new people.

Q. Because of those conditions, still in the mix going into the weekend. What are you looking forward to as you keep yourself in contention?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, you know, I would've liked to be a little bit closer to the top, but it's pretty bunched up right now, too.

I feel like with the conditions over the next two days anything can really happen. Just trying to stick to the game plan, hit some solid shots, and give myself some opportunities.
