POP-TARTS BOWL: KANSAS STATE VS NC STATE

December 26, 2023

Hadley Panzer

Orlando, Florida, USA

Camping World Stadium

Kansas State Wildcats

Press Conference

Q. Did you ride the roller coaster?

HADLEY PANZER: Yeah, we did, the White Lightning, it is pretty fun. It is like our first ride with our kid and stuff. He was all-in right off the bat. So, it was a lot of fun.

Q. How have you enjoyed the experience as a whole?

HADLEY PANZER: It's been a lot of fun being down here in Orlando. Obviously, weather, right now, is different than back home, but it is a lot of fun here, no doubt.

Q. You have a lot of pictures, videos of snow?

HADLEY PANZER: Yeah, it is snowing back home. But yeah, it is good here. Nice weather here, though.

Q. With Coach Riley now obviously being the offensive coordinator of this game, has there been any adjustment period for you guys up front as a group with him, maybe having some other responsibilities, too?

HADLEY PANZER: No. I think playing the offensive line position, we take it upon ourselves that if he has other things going on, then we need to make sure we are still holding up our own and whether he is there or not, then we need to hold up over own. I think that is what we kind of take upon ourselves up front.

Q. You're kind of the young guy in the group of this offensive line, but what's it going to be like playing the last game?

HADLEY PANZER: I'm just going to take it all in. Like I said, the time is limited with those guys. They are my brothers. They took me in underneath their winning whenever I was a freshman. So, I spent a lot of time with them. Yeah, excited for it, and going to soak it all in.

Q. A lot of NFL picks sit out their Bowl game. Cooper said there's no way he's going to miss this game. How cool is it for him to have one more game with this group?

HADLEY PANZER: He is setting an example. Like he said, he is going to finish what he started. And I think that's a great example for not only in the offensive line room but for collectively on the team that we are going to finish what we start, and that we are going to enjoy this last one with all of us.

Q. What's it been like to watch your young freshman quarterback grow over these past few weeks?

HADLEY PANZER: He is taking it in really good. I mean, obviously, he is a good player. He is a young kid, but he is soaking it in all in right now. He is wanting to learn more. He is wanting to do more and that is all you can ask for, really, as a young kid. But yeah, it is fun to see him grow the way he has.

Q. Get a review on the trophy behind you? What do you think of the Toaster trophy?

HADLEY PANZER: I saw the trophy, but I was more looking at the Pop-Tarts up there. It looks like strawberry, but I'm more like blueberry. But it's good, yeah.
