THE MODERATOR: Tapio, fantastic performance today, 5-under par 67 in round which included five birdies, two bogeys and a hole-in-one in the first round here at the LIV Golf Promotions at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Can you talk us through your round today.

TAPIO PULKKANEN: Yeah, I kind of had a slow start today. I made a three-putt on the first hole. Made good birdies on the par-5s on the front nine.

I had a little problem with the speed on the greens. They was a little bit faster than on the practice days. That's what I felt. Nice hole-in-one and a lot of stuff happening today. Good start.

Q. You've played championship golf here before at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Did that give you in any way any advantage heading into the round?

TAPIO PULKKANEN: Yeah, I feel like it was easier to prepare for the tournament because I've played here two times before, and I think practicing here once, as well, I know the course well. Feels confident to play it.

Q. Obvious highlight of the round was the hole-in-one on 15. Can you talk us through that shot and which club did you hit?

TAPIO PULKKANEN: It was 177 meters to the pin. I hit 8-iron, downwind off the left. I felt like it was a little bit too much club, but my caddie said it's perfect, and I trusted him, and it went in. Thanks for him.

Q. You're safely advancing through to the weekend at LIV Golf Promotions. What's the game plan going into the weekend?

TAPIO PULKKANEN: Yeah, of course I'm going to try to repeat this one and should be enough for the card maybe.
