THE ANNIKA DRIVEN BY GAINBRIDGE AT PELICAN

November 11, 2023

Amy Yang

Belleair, Florida, USA

Pelican Golf Club

TV

Q. Amy Yang, 61, but all of us were thinking it could have been 59. Was there any chance out there that you thought you might do a 59 as well?

AMY YANG: Honestly, no. I wasn't my own counting score today.

Q. You're known for going quite low. You've had nine (indiscernible)in a row; played in one in Korea. When you get in the zone, what are you mentally thinking about?

AMY YANG: You know, not much. It's just quiet down you thinking, a lot of ego out there. Just see the shot and just commit it and just play. Feels so much easier that way.

Q. And you won all of your tournaments overseas. What would it mean to get a victory here on American soil?

AMY YANG: Yeah, I heard about the question. It will be special, definitely. You know, never had one in U.S.

And doesn't mean I never had a winning on LPGA Tour, but will be special to have one in U.S., yes.
