Q. How do you feel, first of all, about this opportunity to start tomorrow knowing that you guys have a chance to advance if you win?

JOSE URQUIDY: I was waiting for the chance since we started the series. I'm anxious to pitch tomorrow. I'm anxious to finish the series tomorrow and enjoy it with the guys.

Q. When did you actually know for sure that you'd be starting?

JOSE URQUIDY: Today, today, after this game. The pitching coach told me I've got the ball for tomorrow, so I've got to be ready.

Q. He just told you after the game?

JOSE URQUIDY: Yes.

Q. You made your last start in Arizona on such short notice. Does that give you any more confidence knowing that you pitched as well as you did there?

JOSE URQUIDY: I've got the same confidence. I know it's an important game tomorrow, that day. I've got to be focused, do my job, and enjoy the game.

Q. Is there anything you can pick up from having watched the first games of the series and how your pitchers have gone about that lineup and how it might be able to help you?

JOSE URQUIDY: I was in the pen. I was watching the game from there. For sure, I've got a plan for tomorrow. Javy has a good fastball. He was attacking with fastball highs.

I hope got my own plan of attack tomorrow. I'm going to talk with the catcher and see what's going on and create a plan right there.
