Quick Quotes Singles

Q. Talk about the experience of being back on the team, what it's meant to you.

RICKIE FOWLER: Yeah, no, I mean, this was -- just to be on this team was kind of very distant on the radar a year ago, where I had been the last few years. So to kind of continue to build on things, accomplish the things that I did, take care of some goals to ultimately get me into this place, that's pretty special.

So obviously bummed that the game didn't exactly travel this week and struggled a bit the first day and kind of just never felt that comfortable.

Fought, fought today, and I kept hanging around and tried to keep pushing. But ultimately a couple swings on my end that cost me, and Tommy played some pretty solid golf.

So we had a good match. Obviously it has to go one way or the other. And proud of all the boys. We fought like hell the last couple days to at least give ourselves a chance after that start. So, yeah, it is what it is.

Q. Knowing you got a good core group with you being one of the older guys on the squad, is the momentum from last night and today, does that kind of help pave the way for the next two years, leading to Bethpage, knowing the crowds are going to be there and how that's going to be a totally different atmosphere?

RICKIE FOWLER: Yeah, no, it will be significantly different. There's nothing like a New York crowd or a Northeast crowd. So it should be very interesting.
