Q. Here with Lexi Thompson after her first round. Walk us through your round out there and what you felt like as well.

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, overall just a very steady day. We had perfect weather out there, so I just tried to take last week into today and just fully commit to every shot that I had out there.

Q. And when you think back to last week, what are some key moments you think about?

LEXI THOMPSON: Just being around my teammates and playing under my captain, Stacy Lewis, and my assistant captains, and just overall playing for my country. It's the highest honor, and to be able to pull off some good shots and make some putts for my country, there is absolutely no better feeling.
