Q. It was such a dominant performance. Now Carlota, you had a break this morning. Linn, you've had a very long day. It feels like it's worth the wait. First of all, to you, Linn, it's your first Solheim Cup point. I know you're used to winning, but how does it feel?

LINN GRANT: Amazing. I'm so glad I'm here with Carlota. I think we had a great day. We played very solid. Yeah, it was amazing. I'm really glad to play with her.

Q. You guys had a hot start and, Carlota, obviously you're playing on home soil. You talked about less some nerves, but actually excitement. What were the emotions like out there?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I mean, I was just embracing it and having fun. I think the atmosphere on the first hole, it's amazing. I'm so happy that we get to play here in Spain. It's very special for me.

I think, yeah, we played great. I feel very comfortable with Linn. She's an amazing player. I really like how she is on the course and I think that we played a really good four-ball and we were in control all the time. Hopefully, we can keep it the same tomorrow.

Q. Linn, first point at the Solheim Cup with a fellow ASU Sun Devil. How have you found the day? Obviously a long day for you out there.

LINN GRANT: Yeah, it was a long day, but I had fun. I had fun in the morning. I had really fun out here now in this afternoon. I mean, I'm here to play everything I get to play and I'm just really excited to be here.

Q. What was that like this afternoon having Carlota with you? Obviously the crowds were quite loud throughout. How was that?

LINN GRANT: I mean, she's good at making some noise herself and pumping them up, which is good. I think I'm a bit more on the quiet side, so I think we complement each other very well. I love to play with her. She's a great player and she makes it look so easy and, like I said, I think we complement each other both personality-wise and in our game in a four-ball.
