Quick Quotes

Q. Congratulations, win No. 4 on the DP World Tour this season, and a title successfully defended.  How do you feel?

KIPP POPERT:  Yeah, very pleased.  I played really well today.  Hit it really good.  So thanks to Steven, my coach, we had 20 minutes on the range this morning and very simple, yeah, really helped.

Q. Two shots behind going into today, what was your game plan heading into the final day?

KIPP POPERT:  Just go as low as I could.  I gave myself a lot of really good looks out there.  Just had a few misreads but I'm really pleased with how I played and Ben and I did a good job as always.

Q. And birdie, birdie, par finish, that must have been absolutely ideal for you.

KIPP POPERT:  Yeah, the shot on 16 was really nice, and then in a practise round, Ben was telling me that you can't stop it on 17.  So I had a wedge in there and I was like trying to beat him, really and I managed to stop that one on the down slope near the flag.  I gave him a little smile after that.

Q. And this is perfect preparation for the finale this n Dubai?

KIPP POPERT:  Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Dubai.  It's lovely out there and get to compete with my friends, so it should be good.

Q. You had a special guest following you, Tyler?

KIPP POPERT:  Yeah, I do some Kent disability stuff and he's a good kid.  I'm sure he's got a bright future.
