Q. You played well out there. Tell us about your round.

BERNHARD LANGER: I played really good for 15 holes and then the last three I missed three fairways and the course is tough coming out of the rough, and I did bogey the last. It leaves a bit of a sour taste, but 3-under is not a bad round, and looking forward to the weekend.

Q. How about the crowd and the flavor and the weather of the event today?

BERNHARD LANGER: Everything is brilliant. The course is great. The crowd are fantastic. The venue, everything, the weather, just couldn't be any better.

Q. Has St. Louis, this event, already become one of the favorites with players in a short time?

BERNHARD LANGER: I would think so. If you look at the field, how many great players showed up here, definitely I think they've proven that they're one of the best, and it's a great venue on top of that.
