THE MODERATOR: An hour and 20 minutes. Pretty efficient. How do you think you played? Assess your performance.

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, I mean, it wasn't easy match. We played so many good rallies. I feel like, you know, she has a similar game to mine.

Yeah, it was kind of tough. And yeah, I'm just happy with my game and with the way I'm handling it.

THE MODERATOR: Questions.

Q. Can you just talk about all the emotions after that one and just how you feel your level is at the moment.

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, I'm very happy with the way I'm playing. It's never easy, and I feel like, you know, it's very tough matches. I'm very happy with the scores, you know.

Today it wasn't an easy match, so I felt like, you know, we were fighting so much, so I'm very happy to be through.

Q. What did your coach say to you in terms of what was the assessment from that vantage point?

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, I mean, she has a better forehand, but, I mean, we are both lefty, so it's kind of tough to play to her backhand.

Yeah, I just tried, you know, to stay in her forehand and then push.

Yeah, it was a bit windy also, and Grandstand is a bit faster, I feel like. But yeah, I mean, it was a great match.

Q. Finally, did Wimbledon send you the replica yet? What your cat may think of that wonderful replica of that trophy for you.

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, I mean, I took it home from London. We have it at home. And yeah, she wasn't so impressed. (Laughter.) She doesn't care, no.

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: No, no, she doesn't care.
