6-1, 6-3

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English, please.

Q. Tough match today, but overall this was a really great week for you, a lot of really big wins. What is the biggest positive you're going to take away from this tournament?

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Well, like you say, it was a very good week and happens. It happened everything on all matches. I played very well. I played today very bad. I had to be on every point against Casper.

Then, I think, for me, this week is very positive week. And I will try to consolidate that in my game and for the -- in the two days that I will play again.

You know, I was enjoying every time that I step on court. And I was happy to be on court and, like, expressing my game to the world.

Q. It was, obviously, a big moment for you. How did you feel just before the game just entering the tunnel?

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Today?

Q. Yeah.

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Well, to be honest, I was a lot of nervous with too much tense. And I think that's the -- that's the key that I then work my foot today. And I was like, I would, and my legs was moving so fast.

And he deserve it because he was better player today with better tactics. And, you know, he deserve it, and I wish him good luck in the final.

Q. You came back a bit at the end of the last set. Did you believe at a certain point that you could maybe come back?

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Well, I didn't feel very good, my level today. I was late off everything. I didn't move my legs today.

And, you know, I was playing -- not giving up, but it was, like, very, very weird. Like a very bad day in the office.

And at the end, I was breaking up his serve. But when I was serving, I was more tired. And he was returning everything, and it was very tight.
