AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

August 12, 2023

Stephanie Meadow

London, England, UK

Mixed Zone

Q. Great performance today. You must be pleased with that, especially in the wind?

STEPHANIE MEADOW: Yeah, definitely. Even I was 2-over after four or so, to play the remaining holes in 4-under on a day like today is pretty good, so I'm very happy.

Q. Is the front nine still the challenge?

STEPHANIE MEADOW: Yeah, there was -- 2 and 4 are just really hard holes no matter what wind it is, no wind or some wind or a gale. I think I hit 3-wood into two today. Yeah, it's a hard hole but you kind of have to know that and know that you have some opportunities coming up on the back, so you just have to keep your head and not let it get away from you.

Q. Under par heading into the final day. Plan for tomorrow?

STEPHANIE MEADOW: Who knows, depends on the weather. But I'm very happy with what I did today and I'll just keep thinking about the same things, and yeah, see where we end when it's all said and done.

Q. Overall, more major experience for you, on this kind of stage must be exciting as well.

STEPHANIE MEADOW: Yeah, absolutely. I think I love days like today where you can shoot around par and move up a ton. I think it separates -- well, not separates, everybody is strong out here. But if you have a great mindset out here today, you'll do well because it's hard to just erase your nerve really quickly.

Happy with how I handled myself and just keep going forward.
