Quick Quotes

Q. Thoughts on the weekend?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Well, obviously yesterday was really good, and then today was so-so. I felt like I played quite well but just didn't hole anything. Didn't get any of the breaks, but overall, it was a good weekend. Still enjoyed it.

Q. Obviously another big week next week. It's just a case of the confidence and then just keep going and going?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, I feel like I'm playing well, so just keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully the putts will drop. Got to let myself play and let everything do itself, so I don't think I need to do anything different.

Q. Walton Heath, what sort of history do you have there?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: I played there a couple times, and also the week before Evian I went for a round with my caddie, Paul, and had a look at it, which is nice. It's looking great. Not a traditional Open course but it will be great, lots of heather around. Keep out of that, you should be fine.

Q. Quite a run at this level, majors left, right and center. Is it quite difficult to keep up mentally and physically.

GEMMA DRYBURGH: U.S. Open, and then Evian last week.

Q. Next week.

GEMMA DRYBURGH: It's a big few months. You hope to peak at the right time. It's been fun. Hopefully have it a bit more spread out next year but we'll see.

Q. This event really has had a great field and been a great success. Do you look forward to playing in front of your home crowd?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, it's really good. Obviously weather is beautiful. Nice to see the crowds out and some home support as well but I'm sure they will have an exciting finish as well.

Q. How important is it that this event keeps in this spot on the schedule and is that the warm-up for the AIG Women's Open?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, it's really important. Next year at St Andrews, it will be nice to play this and then drive over to St Andrews. It's just a fantastic way to warm up for The Open the week before. I like to play the week before if I can.

Yeah, it will be great to have on the schedule next year. I think everyone loves it. Lodges are here, nice gym on site. It's a beautiful spot, as well.
