Q. Two questions. Very good under par round. Does that leave you regretting Friday? Because you were in the Top 10 were it not for Friday's 3-over.

XANDER SCHAUFFELE: I'm not sure. It was quite a long day and my brain is pretty much fried. To see the lead at 12-under I'm pretty far back.

Not a whole lot to think about.

Q. When you have two days like Thursday and Friday and totally different weather conditions today, is that a good thing because it makes it a major championship, or a bad thing because it's a totally different tournament?

XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Depends what kind of golf you're playing. If you're playing really good golf and you're on the correct side you're all happy and all smiles.

You know, some of these guys have really taken advantage of the opportunity. When the weather kind of laid down a little bit with the wind and whatnot and no rain.

Yesterday was such a strange day. Supposed to be terrible and was one of the nicest days. That was kind of moving day, and I shot 3-under but not low enough make too much movement.

Just too far behind and really wasn't in position for this week.
