Q. Rough start to the day. After that, you seemed to be getting it up and down.

RETIEF GOOSEN: Yeah, really bad club selection maybe on 4. Should have taken an extra club and gone on more right, but ball came out dead left. Then a stupid three-putt on 6 -- or on 5, I should say. Three-putt from three feet. That sort of killed the momentum a little there.

Looking at getting a birdie there and then that was not fun.

Messed up on 10 again. I couldn't hit the fairway once this week. Then just played the last few holes and see what we can do. It was nice to finish with a couple of birdies.

Q. At the very least, you have a top-10 finish. You're automatically exempt for next year's Senior Open.

RETIEF GOOSEN: It was a great week. The course was there. The rough was difficult, and as many fairways as I missed, I think I did okay. I was like a cow out there just eating cabbage the whole time.
