July 2, 2023

Y.E. Yang

Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Tough end to the day, but you enjoyed a pretty good round otherwise. Can you talk about the day and the week that you've had here.

Y.E. YANG: He finished in the top ten, so that's good. It's a little bit disappointing when you finish lower.

Q. Top-10 finish gets you an exemption into next year.

Y.E. YANG: We were thinking maybe Bernhard backs up and have a chance to win, right?

Q. Hoping you would, but talk about that. He's not a player known for giving up strokes.

Y.E. YANG: It's a joke.

Q. I know. I think I asked that yesterday, and I think whoever I was talking to said, yeah, that German doesn't back up.

Y.E. YANG: No.

Q. Just the week and the course. I mean, just sum up the course. What do you think about it as a Senior Open course?

Y.E. YANG: For a major course, it's a good test of golf, but it was fair. I think the USGA got it just right.
