CINCH CHAMPIONSHIPS

June 22, 2023

Alex De Minaur

London, England, UK

Queens Club

Press Conference

A. de MINAUR/D. Schwartzman

6-2, 6-2

THE MODERATOR: Congratulations, Alex. Into the quarterfinal here at the Queen's Club. Do you feel happy about your performance today?

ALEX de MINAUR: Yeah, I'm happy to be in another quarterfinals here at Queen's. Yeah, second tournament on the grass, and I'm liking the way I'm playing. I'm liking the way I'm feeling on the court, and hopefully I can build on this.

Yeah, it should be a tough one tomorrow.

THE MODERATOR: Questions.

Q. With tomorrow's, it looks like it's going to be a difficult one for your two opponents today. That's only got to be good news, doesn't it?

ALEX de MINAUR: Yeah. Hopefully they play for four hours. (Smiling.)

No, it's going to be brutal either way. I think they are both high-quality opponents, especially on the grass. Very different opponents. You've got Mannarino, which I have already had some battles with. You know, he's talented, tricky on the grass. Very good grass court player.

Then you've got Fritz who's got an unbelievable big game and is full of confidence. It's going to be an interesting one. I think that's far from over, so we'll see (smiling).
