Q. All right, here with Hyo Joo Kim. Just how were your first two rounds?

HYO JOO KIM: So I had more birdies today than I did yesterday. Finished with a good score, but there were some disappointing parts towards the end, but I am glad I still finished with a good score. Just need to give it my all in the remaining rounds this week.

Q. We've seen a lot of birdies over this event. What is it about this course that allows for such low scores?

HYO JOO KIM: There is a lot of short par-5s, so I think a lot of them are trying to get on the green in two. As a result there is a lot of low scores.

I guess everyone's putter is hot, as is mine, so I think that led to a good score this week.

Q. What is the confidence level heading into the weekends knowing you're in the mix with everyone at the top?

HYO JOO KIM: I won't say I have no confidence. I think I'm keeping a good feel from last week to this week. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a little bit of a better shot and putter than I did today.
