Q. Here with Ayaka, a 4 & 2 victory over Stacy Lewis. What was working so well for you today?

AYAKA FURUE: I had some trouble around the course, but I just focused on the play, and I played well today.

Q. Your back nine, you really came back and put a flurry of good holes together. Walk me through the last couple of holes that you had.

AYAKA FURUE: I didn't think anything. I just went through the next hole and just think about the next hole and play well and got to get birdies the next hole. I keep going through that mind.

Q. What is it about Shadow Creek that you like the most?

AYAKA FURUE: It's just beautiful, and there's some difficult holes. I guess it's a really hard course for playing match play.

Q. You obviously finished really well here last year. What are the memories that you have when you come back to this event?

AYAKA FURUE: I'm so happy to be back here again, and yeah, I want to definitely go to the final rounds this year, too.

Q. What will you look to improve upon heading into tomorrow?

AYAKA FURUE: I think my shots were pretty good today, but some of my putting were not stable, so yeah, just to get some birdies I'm going to have like stable putting for the final round tomorrow.
