Quick Quotes

Q. First made cut on the PGA TOUR; how does it feel?

PARKER COODY: It feels pretty good. Yeah, to be able to do it here is really special. Just looking forward to a great weekend now.

Q. Played a good round today. Kind of take me through how you played.

PARKER COODY: Yeah, I started off first couple holes were a little shaky. Made a couple good pars. Nerves didn't feel that crazy today. Just I knew what I had to do; scores were out there even though it's windy. Finally made a few birdies and kind of relaxed a little bit.

Made a couple nice birdies on the back and then just a couple bogeys. Obviously, everyone wishes they could have them back, but overall it was great and just looking to get going tomorrow.

Q. That last stretch did get a little nervy. Was it nerves, just some bad shots?

PARKER COODY: No, I mean, like on 16, I barely hit it in the bunker and I have a 5-iron, the ball is way below my feet and I have one foot out of the bunker. I hit a great shot just short of the green, hit a pitch eight feet by or so and just barely missed left. It could have gone in for the same price.

Then on 17 just barely caught it up in the wind, just barely catches the bunker and then hit a great putt, but you still walk away with a 4 and you're kicking yourself pretty good.

Ending with a birdie on 18 was great.

Q. We talked to you before the week started. I know you were excited to have two rounds out there with a bunch of people following you and people in town. What's it been like out there through two days?

PARKER COODY: It's been awesome. Augusto and Tano have been great, and on the first tee they got announced before I did, and they were great sports about it, but I got a pretty big ovation compared to them. I'm sure if we were in Argentina where they're from -- I know Augusto is from Argentina. But if we were there I'm sure it would be the other way around. It's been great having everyone out.

Q. What's kind of the emotion knowing you're playing the weekend?

PARKER COODY: Just go low. I've got nothing to lose out here. This technically isn't my Tour right now, so just go get it and we'll see.
