Quick Quotes

Q. The Thailand team remains undefeated after more great golf here on Saturday at Harding Park. Patty, I saw you walk in the final putt of y'all's match. How good did it feel to grind that one out after being 3-up and having a little bit of a late charge from the Aussies?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I think it woke me up a little bit when they started making putts. Steph was really clutch coming down the end. You've got to give that to her. But we did what we had to do, and we ended up finishing, winning.

Q. Atthaya, how much confidence does that give you being able to hold off that late charge?

ATTHAYA THITIKUL: We played really solid today. Both of us played pretty good today. We had to get the birdies to beat them. They did a really good job there, as well, but obviously we had more confidence going into the final round.

Q. Mo and May, obviously a team that always seems to work well in this format. 3 and 2; I don't think you've seen 18 yet this week. What was it today that was really work or what was working so well between the two of you to get that good win?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: I would say May playing really solid, and she made a lot of putts. I was there when I have to be there pretty much. I was there at the right time.

Q. May, what was working so well in your game today that helped you support Mo out there?

ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I would say my putting getting much better late first round, and after that I start to make some putts so make me have more confidence.

Q. You're arguably one of the teams to beat out here this week playing so solid. Looking ahead to the semifinals tomorrow, what will you bring to the table that maybe the other teams don't have?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Good vibes. We all know how to play golf. It's match play; at the end of the day anything can happen. We're just going to give it our best and hopefully we bring home the trophy.

Q. Can you all appreciate or try to describe the challenge of sweeping every single match at Crown with so many good players you all went up against?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Sure. We played well. We deserve it.

Q. Thailand is a 6 seed, would be the lowest seed to ever win this event. What would that mean for Thai golf to end up with a crown at the end of the day tomorrow?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It's not over yet. There's still a lot of golf left to play. I don't think we think that far ahead of how much it's going to do, but if anything it's doing more good than harm.

Q. What's it meant to have Jan here this week following along?

ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Yeah, it's been nice. I mean, we have big support, as well. And then Jan, Wichanee, it's kind of close to the this (indiscernible). And then she's nice, just hanging around with us and then supporting us pretty well out there.

Q. I know foursomes is a little bit different than what we usually do here. What's your experience with alternate shot?

ARIYA JUTANUGARN: We don't really have much experience about that, but we have played in Dow so we've been playing the last few years, so we kind of know what we have to do with the alternate shot.

Q. How much more challenging is that format than maybe four-balls or even singles? At least you're going up against one person.

ARIYA JUTANUGARN: To me I think it's really hard because you need to know your partner well and you need to trust her, also, so that's one of the pretty hard parts to playing alternate shot.

I feel like I got pretty lucky last year when I played with my sister, because even if I hit a bad shot I'm not going to feel bad because I know she's going to trust me, and we just have to keep doing next shot. We just have to keep committing it. I think that part is pretty tough.

Q. Atthaya, that's a big crowd out there. I know you signed a lot of autographs. How cool is it to have this many Thai fans out and supporting you guys?

ATTHAYA THITIKUL: We really appreciate them. They came out with really tough weather, not that sunny out here, but they're still coming and watching us play. Really appreciate them, and then thank you for that support. We're looking forward to seeing more fans coming tomorrow.
