Q. Quick start in this match. What was your mindset through that early portion?

LILIA VU: I think just give ourselves opportunities for birdie. I know it's tough out here. Made some bogeys. We didn't have our best, but we did what we could.

Q. You not only played Team England, it was a tough day of conditions that you were playing in today. Facing these tough conditions, how did you adapt your game when playing in this cold and windy weather?

NELLY KORDA: Honestly, it got really cold, I think, once we got to like 13 or 14. Other than that, it was kind of what we were planning for. You know you have to club up, but then once we got to those holes, it got really windy.

You kind of have to adapt, club up a little and talk with your caddie a little bit more about what clubs you're going to hit into the greens.

Q. That also seemed to be a bit of a turning point for you guys taking a lead in that portion of the golf course. Where did you feel like you were able to take advantage?

LILIA VU: I think on that par-3, 14, I think we just got away with a par and then just kept going from there.
