Quick Quotes

THE MODERATOR: 5-under par today, nice round, fellas. Martin, talk a little bit about the day.

MARTIN TRAINER: Yeah, I mean, we didn't get off to a fast start, but starting on the eighth hole, Chad hit a really nice iron shot in there, gave us a little momentum, and then we had a little streak of birdies. Yeah, ended up being a great day, and hopefully we'll keep it rolling tomorrow.

Q. Chad, what was working well today?

CHAD RAMEY: I felt like both of our putters are rolling really well right now. Like he said, we didn't get off to a very good start, but nothing was bad. We were hitting good shots, good putts. They just weren't going in, and then, like he said, on the 8th hole it finally started to click and just gave us some momentum.

Q. Where were you guys during the delay out on the course, and did that affect you any?

CHAD RAMEY: We were on 17 tee box, so I was having to hit the tee shot, so it was not a fun one to come back to after an hour-and-a-half-, two-hour delay. But we made the best of it.

Q. Talk a little bit about the partnership of you guys playing together this week.

MARTIN TRAINER: Well, it was kind of last minute. Chad and I actually happened to play together here last year. We got paired together but not on the same team. Chad needed a partner, and my partner pulled out, and so ended up working out great, and now we are here.

CHAD RAMEY: Yep, couldn't have said it any better myself, and things couldn't have worked out any better. We're headed into the weekend towards the top of the leaderboard.

Q. Just comment a little bit about your mindset going into tomorrow's best ball.

MARTIN TRAINER: Well, I think we're going to keep doing what we've been doing.

CHAD RAMEY: No doubt.

MARTIN TRAINER: Our games, I think, complement each other quite well, and so we're going to keep playing our own games, but apparently that has a little synergy to it, and maybe it'll keep going well.
