MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 8, 2023

Abraham Ancer

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Tell us, now that you have the cut made. Four Masters, three cuts. How did this one feel?

ABRAHAM ANCER: This one, the weather wasn't the best, unfortunately, but that's how it goes. Majors, that's a big part depending where you end up.

I played good both days. Put myself in tough spots a couple times and left some bogeys, but I stayed patient. This morning it was probably pretty easy to lose my patience thinking about the weather and all that stuff, but I grinded it out, made some good pars, made some good up and downs, and made a birdie there and a bogey.

Happy with my results so far. It obviously didn't play easy this morning, and I still had to play most of the back nine. But, yeah, getting ready to a quick turnaround and keep playing.

Q. Long day today, long day tomorrow. For you, what is the preparation like?

ABRAHAM ANCER: I think the preparation is done. I just got to go out and play and just grind it out.

It's not going to be easy. It's going to be blowing. It's going to be cold. It's going to be raining. But at least everybody is going to be out there in the same stuff today.
