Q. You can't think about a Solheim Cup without thinking about Lizette Salas. You played in the last five Solheim Cups. You are a big reason for success on the Solheim Cup; and you'll be playing most likely in your first one.

What was it like playing out there today side by side, collectively 12 birdies? If you played best ball it would've been 10-under par.

LIZETTE SALAS: I mean, that's really good on this golf course. I think with the wind switching back to its normal I think we were kind of -- well, I was comfortable with that wind switch.

You know, coming off with three birdies in a row to start the day, just wanted to keep that momentum going.

Obviously Lilia has been playing solid all year pretty much and last year, so I just wanted to keep up with her. It was a solid group overall, and I think just rolling putts back and forth obviously makes it more fun.

Q. If you were to play on a Solheim Cup team together and you got paired together, what would it be like to play alongside Lizette, and what do you take from her as a person and with her game?

LILIA VU: Would be a lot of weight off my shoulder if I were to partner with you, to be honest, because you hit it dead straight and so good around the greens, short game, putting. It's very inspiring. Seeing you make birdies on the front nine it was like...

LIZETTE SALAS: I was just trying to do that because you were doing it. You know, just watching her, like playing in the final group, getting her first win, and just she's just so -- I'm going to say chill, relaxed, and having fun.

I think her and her caddie just make a great team. He was on my bag for a while. I think there is some similarities in our game and she's a great putter and overall her attitude is really good.

Q. And you both hail from Southern California, so this feels like a home game. I know you have talked about you got nostalgic feelings coming to this golf course because you played here and won here in college. How cool is it to be out here playing as a pro?

LILIA VU: It's really cool. A lot family and friends came out today and yesterday, too. It was nice to see them out here. Hopefully more will come out tomorrow.
