Q. Nice round out there. What was working for you?

CRYSTAL WANG: Thank you. So in the beginning I kind of struggled with my short game, and then toward the end when I got used to like the speed, so my putting -- I was hitting it closer, and my putting's a little better.

Q. You went on a tear there on your back nine and had four birdies. Can you tell me maybe what was the coolest highlight out of those moments?

CRYSTAL WANG: The coolest highlight is just like hitting it close, like confident with my shot and also confident in my putting.

Q. This is your second year here. How do you feel like playing this course again kind of favors your game?

CRYSTAL WANG: Well, the first year I was in some trouble, so I kind of know where not to go. Then just playing this course again and seeing it from like a different perspective like really helps.

Q. Do you feel like somewhat of an underdog in this field this week?

CRYSTAL WANG: Could be.

Q. When you came into this championship this week, what did your prep look like? Especially from last year's experience.

CRYSTAL WANG: Coming into this, I just want to like enjoy. This is my last year. I'm a fifth year, so this will be my last year just enjoying.

Q. Coming out of this round, what do you think it will take tomorrow to stay inside and have another good finish?

CRYSTAL WANG: Just continue to enjoy and then just -- like tomorrow's going to be a beautiful day, yeah.

Q. You've been playing well this season, had a win over the weekend. How does that help as you prepare for this week?

CRYSTAL WANG: I think that builds on my confidence, just coming to this knowing that it's going to be fun and I will do well.

Q. How are the conditions for you today? I would imagine, being in Illinois, you enjoy the cooler temperatures. How did the weather fare for you today?

CRYSTAL WANG: I enjoyed the weather today. I do like cooler weather. Today is pretty warm.

Q. Augusta National obviously the goal on Saturday. You missed the cut last year. So what's kind of your mindset as you head towards day 2 and obviously well inside the cut line, but how do you continue that momentum?

CRYSTAL WANG: Just continue to be present and just focus on one shot at a time.
