Quick Quotes

Q. How did it go out there for you today?

LOIS KAYE GO: Honestly, it was pretty tough out there. I scrambled a lot, finished 1-over, bogeyed my 16th and 17th hole. But I can't complain. I made the cut. I tried to stay patient, although it was a lot more difficult today. But, yeah, that's what I tried to do.

Q. Still made a couple of birdies, though. What worked well for you on those holes?

LOIS KAYE GO: Well, I don't remember the other one, but I remember 18. I hit it on the fairway, and then I pulled my second shot into the water, and he found my ball (indicating), but I still had to drop anyway. And then when I dropped, it was like right behind like a weird patch of grass. So I just, I was like, wow, okay, great drop. But I hit it where I wanted to hit it, and I was lucky it went in.

Q. You made a nice chip in?

LOIS KAYE GO: Yes. Like, a lot of luck, but, yeah, I'll take it any day.

Q. What are you going to take forward into the weekend?

LOIS KAYE GO: I'm going to try to get my tempo back on the range after lunch and, as I said, just remain patient and stick to the game plan and just commit to every shot.
