MINSOL KIM: Today, I got a double bogey and an eagle. But this venue is very beautiful. So, yeah, it's good today.

Q. You said you got a double and an eagle. What hole was that on?

MINSOL KIM: Today my eagle was on the 4th hole. The first tee shot was great. The second approach went left, but I had some luck there, and I got a 1-putt and made an eagle that hole.

MINSOL KIM: I got a double bogey on that hole. The tee shot was great, but the second shot went left and a three-putt and yeah, that's that.

Q. So what is your plan going into tomorrow?

MINSOL KIM: There are still three rounds left. Today is just the first round. I will continue to move forward toward winning the championship.

Q. So apparently there are no Koreans that have ever missed the cut. Also no Korean champions. Maybe you'll be the first. What do you think?

MINSOL KIM: Yes, I just want to be the first; to be the winner in this tournament. The first Korean winner.
