Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Maja Stark. Held your own today. That was kind of a challenging group to be in. Just evaluate that round.

MAJA STARK: I don't think I had a problem with the people. I think it's fun to have those big crowds. I think this is probably the biggest crowd I've play in front of, so that was a lot of fun. Glad I handled that and all the distractions that come with that.

But it was great to see so many people here. Just very bad putting. Just felt like I had good speed on the putts. Yeah, just misread a lot. Yeah, very slow day.

Q. I heard it was playing a little firmer out there. Did you notice that? And if you did, how did you adjust with that and the little bit of wind that picked up?

MAJA STARK: I didn't notice that it got firmer. The wind, it didn't do a lot to my planning. Yeah, I don't know. Didn't feel a change.

Q. With those crowds, any moments stand out? Was there any tee shot or maybe being on the first tee shot or the 18th green that it was really loud, kind of crazy?

MAJA STARK: Well, when Sim made her birdie on 17, that was probably the loudest. Or maybe coming up 18 here. Yeah, it was cool. I've never heard anything like that before, so it was nice.

Q. You're a classic player that does go low on a lot of Sundays. Tomorrow it's going to take a really low one, but what's the mindset heading into that day?

MAJA STARK: Just going to keep trying to be confident with my irons, but mostly my putting. I feel like since I almost made nothing today, feels like I just have to keep reminding myself that, okay, the line is -- this is going in, so I don't stop believing that.
