Quick Quotes

Q. You are the first player since 2013 to post a 64 or better in the final round. Considering these conditions that you have been battling all day, all week, what are you most proud of when it comes to that score?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Yeah. I mean, I would say I'm most proud of I hung in there today. Obviously the front nine most of the holes are downwind, so I got off to a great start. Putter was super hot. Made some nice ones early. Kind of kept the momentum going on the back nine.

There was some holes that played really tough and I hit some really quality shots that were into the wind, managed to make the putts.

Q. You decide to go full force off the tee on the 18th hole. Can you talk us through the strategy because we've been wondering how this weather impacts your decisionmaking throughout the day.

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Yeah, there's definitely a few reasons I didn't. I hit 3-iron off the tee this morning. It was cold and raining. Also I haven't really been driving it my best. It's a tough tee shot, no matter what circumstance you're in. Still could have made birdie with the 3-iron off the tee. It's just a tight tee shot. It's dark, cold, windy. So just hit 3-iron and tried to give myself a good look for birdie and hit it a little too far past the pin, but overall I'm happy.
