THE MODERATOR: Congratulations on the win. Tough match. What do you take away from today to bring into your match Saturday?

LAURA SIEGMUND: Yeah, I had a lot of tennis in the last two days, then finally when we could play, but I'm really happy.

I think I fought really hard. I lost again the first set. Had, again, chances like yesterday. It wasn't necessary to lose it, but I have to give also credit to my opponent. She played very, very solid, and I made too many errors in the first set.

But then I'm just very happy that I can still turn it around and, like, find solutions and always fight and look for my chances that I get down the road, and I really did a great job with that.

Got very aggressive in the third set. Didn't leave her a lot of room anymore to kind of pursue her game, and that was really the difference then in the third also.
