THE MODERATOR: Barbora, congratulations on the win. To begin with, could you tell us about the match, how you felt out there on Rod Laver Arena today.

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Well, thank you.

I felt great. It was a really special occasion for me to play in such arena again. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it from the first until the last point.

Yeah, I mean, I had so much fun. I think also my performance was showing it.

THE MODERATOR: What do you feel good about in terms of your game at the moment?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I think everything is improving. I think with every single match I'm getting better and better. I think my serve was working really well today. I think I played really good returns. I think from the baseline I played also a very solid game. I think I was moving well.

Yeah, like I think today was a really, really great match for me.

Q. What is special with the Aussie summer?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Well, I mean, I really love it in Australia. I always love coming here. I mean, since juniors I was always enjoying. I mean, I love the cities, I love the culture, I love the fans. I mean, I love everything about the summer.

For me, I really like the heat. So just it's the beginning of the season. It's a very nice Grand Slam. I mean, everything about it.

For me, it's very special that I can start the year here, that I can play again. I'm trying to do the best I can. So I'm really happy with the way I'm winning so far.

Just in general it's a very special place for me.

Q. How big is this victory today for you?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I mean, it's definitely big win. I mean, it's always nice to play on Rod Laver Arena, which I feel like it's just I can get a little bit more out of the situation. I mean, I love to play on these big courts.

Yeah, I mean, it's just a great, great feeling that I can show my best tennis on such a court.

Q. How does it feel to enter the arena?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I mean, it feels good. I mean, it's not my first time entering it. I got little bit used to it. I always feel a little like a butterfly in my stomach when I get there. I have this when I'm entering all the big courts.

It's just something more special because I don't feel that like I'm a featured from the very first rounds to play on these courts. So is always very, very special.

Yeah, one day I would be very happy to play on, like, these arenas from the first round on.
