Q. 69, 8-under total first two days, how do you reflect on that?

SCOTT JAMIESON: Yeah, very happy with that. Yesterday and this morning, yeah, I putted very well the first round. I was kind of solid enough and then took advantage of the chances I had. Kind of similar that round, maybe left a few out there but had a couple good saves as well to be fair.

Q. You had a good performance last and started off in the same vein this year. What is it about this place that suits your eye?

SCOTT JAMIESON: I'm not too sure to be honest. Yeah, I finished last season well. I was playing well in December down in Africa. So I kept myself ticking over the break, did bits and pieces. Happy to pick up where I left off.

Q. How hard is it could keep that momentum after such a big break?

SCOTT JAMIESON: Yeah, it's difficult but you do, you get a little apprehensive. There was nothing more to play in but you need a break as well. You can't play everything. Yeah, we're away from the family so much. It's great to get some time with them.

Q. A big three weeks on the DP World Tour, how important is it to the rest of the season to get off to a great start?

SCOTT JAMIESON: Yeah, I remember that last year. It's quite an unusual start, you straight in at the deep end with arguably two of the biggest events, so that's kind of always on the back of the mind over the break as well, and you want to hit the ground running and really be ready when the gun goes off.
