Quick Quotes

Q. Can you recap the week for us, please.

NICK TAYLOR: Yeah, it was a very slow start for the most part. I rallied on Friday in the last five to make the cut on the number, and honestly when I finished I thought I might have been one short. It was nice to make the cut.

Then yesterday the putter got hot and had a great round and today was more tricky, so it was nice that 3-under actually went a long ways. I wasn't getting lapped.

All in all, game was really, really good, but it was nice to have a really hot round Saturday when I needed it.

Q. T11 finish here last year. What about this course do you love?

NICK TAYLOR: It's not a bomber's course so it definitely suits my game that way. I've seemed to putt pretty well here the last couple times I've played it and just kept it in play, so it kind of suits my game.

Q. What does this do for your confidence heading further into the season?

NICK TAYLOR: Yeah, a lot. I've had a good fall portion but still took a bunch of time off, so to come out and play well out of the gates kind of proves I'm still working on the right things and doing that. Yeah, it gives me a lot of confidence.
