Q. S a truly dominating performance out there today. How do you assess that opening game?

SEAMUS POWER: Yeah, we played well. We made plenty of birdies. Made some putts at key times and things that you have to do to win a fourball.

Q. How was your assessment for the day?

ROBERT MacINTYRE: Exactly that. Solid tee-to-green both of us. Rolled in some nice putts when we needed to but overall just a good day.

Q. How important to get that first point on the board for your side?

SEAMUS POWER: Yeah, we are going to need them all and with the boys picking up those couple of late half points are huge, overall not bad.

Q. What was it like playing with this man today?

ROBERT MacINTYRE: It was good. We only just met the other day when we played with Shane. I've got a connection with him, kind of same background, so it's been fun. Scotsmen and Irishmen always get on well. It was overall a good day.

Q. How much are you looking forward now to foursomes tomorrow?

SEAMUS POWER: We were saying, it's going to be a long day tomorrow but it's good. Foursomes is a different deal but we played a lot of it growing up. We should fit into it easy enough and see what happens.
