S. SANDERS/A. van Uytvanck

6-2, 6-2

Team Belgium - 0

THE MODERATOR: Sorry for the defeat. How much did the lack of matches affect you in your performance today?

ALISON van UYTVANCK: Yeah, I think it always is a component you don't want to have. You want to have as much more matches you can have under your belt. Of course I only had two after Wimbledon with the back issues I'm having, or had. The back is fine now.

But, I mean, still credits to how Storm played today. I think I didn't play a really bad second set. But she just -- her level was amazing. We have to credit her performance today, as well.

THE MODERATOR: Despite your defeat and Belgium's defeat yesterday, you're still in the run for getting into the semifinals. How confident are you that this is the right level for Belgium to be in the Billie Jean King Cup finals?

ALISON van UYTVANCK: Yeah, I think we have a good team. I think Elise is playing unbelievable, showing that all the confidence she had in the finals last week in doubles. She won the first set now. I believe we can still do it. I feel that with Elise and Flipper, we have a good experienced doubles, as well.

So I think we still have to keep believing, give everything we have. Yeah, that's what we all try to do.
