WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 6, 2022

Jeneath Wong

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Jeneath, you finished the championship at 3-under. How would you summarize your week?

JENEATH WONG: It's just a really good experience playing this tournament. It's pretty good except the last hole that happened today.

Q. What happened on the last?

JENEATH WONG: I kind of pulled my second shot into the water. Cost me and I finish with a double, yeah.

Q. Okay. Well, not always the nicest way to finish, but you did have a big highlight this week with the hole in one.

JENEATH WONG: Yes.

Q. It's been exciting across the board.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, definitely the hole in one kind of made it a bit better.

Q. So you told us about the lowlight of your round today. Can you tell us about the highlight? What went well out there for you today?

JENEATH WONG: My putting kind of improved a little. I holed a few more putts for birdie, so it kind of was working a bit more today.

Q. Looking at this championship what does it mean to you to be able to compete in such a big, elite championship in the Asia Pacific region?

JENEATH WONG: It's just an honor playing in this tournament. I wish to play it next year.

Q. Do you feel like there is anything that you learned this week that you'll be able to take forward as you keep playing?

JENEATH WONG: Just how different players play different kind of shots and how they approach the hole differently.
