WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 5, 2022

Liyana Durisic

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Liyana, even par today. Can you assess your round for us?

LIYANA DURISIC: Today it was slightly better than yesterday. I was sinking more birdies and I had the same number of birdies and bogeys today.

I was hitting it better than yesterday. Still leaving a lot putts out there, but I'm hoping for all the putts to sink in tomorrow.

Q. Making so many birdies out there must give you some confidence that you can keep it going tomorrow.

LIYANA DURISIC: Yes. I started with 2-over and then it was probably like the last six holes that I started making birdies and I'm like, okay, this is going pretty good. I was hoping for a birdie on the last but I didn't, but that's okay.

Q. When you're 2-over like that, what do you do to shift your mindset and try and get some positive momentum?

LIYANA DURISIC: I think it's more sticking to my goals and just fairway, green, two-putts, and giving myself chances and hoping some of them will sink in.

Q. Playing with Sim 300 here, the local star. She put on a bit of a show. Was it impressive to watch?

LIYANA DURISIC: Yes, it was amazing. She hits it insanely far and it's really easy for her to get two on on a par-5, which gives her a lot more opportunities to get birdies, which is amazing.
