WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 5, 2022

Vivian Lu

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Happy with your round today?

VIVIAN LU: I thought my round was pretty good today. I started off slow with a lot of pars, but I managed to make quite a few birdies in the back nine that I played, and I didn't make any bogeys, which was a bonus.

Q. A bogey-free day is always a nice day. That must fill you with some confidence for tomorrow?

VIVIAN LU: Yes, it did, because I started really well yesterday, as well, but I had two bad holes, so it was good for my confidence.

Q. Talk to us about birdies. Were there any that stood out as a highlight today?

VIVIAN LU: Yeah, on the par-3 6th, I holed quite a long one for birdie, which I was pretty happy with.

Q. How long was it?

VIVIAN LU: 15 meters.

Q. Was there any celebration after that one went in?

VIVIAN LU: No, I was just kind of surprised it went in.

Q. You've moved yourself up there nicely today. Looking ahead to tomorrow, what do you want to try and achieve?

VIVIAN LU: I just want to stay consistent like today, making birdies where I can and just try to sink more putts.
